All In One Design and Build seeks do away with multiple services and contracts, meaning much better communication and a more streamlined construction phase. The typical scenario for design and construct process of a home, extension, shop interior, office or commercial kitchen, typically meant two separate contracts, one for the building designers and one for the builder himself. Despite the fact that it’s been that way for a very long time, commercial builder Samuel Wong and architect Charlie Chan believed that by integrating “design” and “build” they could offer their clients a more cohesive – and ultimately cheaper – service. With the entire design and build process managed by the one company there are no communication breakdowns between the architects/designers and the carpenters constructing the building. Communication is an incredibly important aspect of large construction projects, particularly as it prevents stalled work and associated issues. Charlie Chan and Samuel Wong have identified this issue and have created an all in one design and build process, hence the company name.

Samuel Wong founded All-In-One Design and Build. He brought with him over 15 years’ experience as a builder, delivering refurbishments, extensions and alterations to commercial and residential properties on time and under budget.

Samuel was later joined by Charlie Chan. With his Bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Melbourne and a CV studded with major names in the Melbourne architecture scene, Charlie believed that joining forces with a top-quality builder was the way to bring a new level of service and convenience to the design and construction of all kinds of residential and commercial projects.
